LiSTNR is taking The Imperfects further into video, with full length episodes available to watch on Apple Podcasts from Monday, November 2, 2026, TV Central reported on November 1.
The show is hosted by Hugh van Cuylenburg, Ryan Shelton and Josh van Cuylenburg and draws more than 300,000 listeners a month. The first new episode released in full length video features Hamish Blake, in a conversation about building a beginner mindset, sitting with discomfort, and choosing process over product.
Selected back catalogue video interviews are live on Apple Podcasts at the same time. The first group includes surfer Mick Fanning, model and mental health advocate Hannah Ferguson, former AFL player Mitch Brown and Matildas player Mary Fowler.
The Imperfects launched in 2019. LiSTNR says the show has stayed in the Top 15 of the Triton Podcast Ranker Australia for 52 straight months since April 2022. The video move follows the technology partnership LiSTNR announced with Flightcast earlier in 2026, which puts LiSTNR original podcasts into one publishing system for audio and video.
Sam Cavanagh, Head of Content for LiSTNR Original Podcasts, said in the announcement that the show has built a strong connection with its audience through honest and funny conversations, and that stronger video gives that audience a deeper connection while opening new commercial options for advertisers.
WHY IT MATTERS
One of the biggest shows in Australia is putting its full catalogue weight behind video inside Apple Podcasts, and its network is building that video work on a named technology partner rather than treating video as an afterthought. For creators watching the video shift, the signal is in the catalogue move. LiSTNR is converting back episodes, not only new ones.
