Alvinology reported on October 22, 2026 that the Singapore Media Festival will return from December 1 to 5, 2026, adding a new Asia Creator Summit on December 4-5 at Marina Bay Sands.
Hosted by the Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA), the festival also includes the Asia TV Forum & Market from December 1-4. The new Asia Creator Summit is curated by Generation Experience (GenXP) together with Monica Khan of Creator Revolution, runs more than 20 sessions under the theme "Create. Monetise. Scale," and lists creators KIMPRO and ISSEI among its speakers.
WHY IT MATTERS: Asia's creator economy keeps building its own flagship stages, and a government-backed media festival adding a dedicated creator summit is a signal of where sponsorship and platform money in the region is heading. Podcasters and video creators across Southeast Asia get a December marketplace where commissioners, platforms and creators are in the same building.
