Ruthie's Table 4 returns for a sixth series on Tuesday, November 3, 2026, Podcasting Today reported on October 28. Ruth Rogers hosts the show from the world of the River Cafe, the London restaurant she founded nearly 40 years ago. Each week she sits a guest down and uses food as the way into their story. Many of the guests are people she knows personally.
Nile Rodgers, the Chic co-founder and producer, opens the season, talking about his life in music and sharing stories that include Madonna. The season also holds Steve Martin, Martin Short, Thandiwe Newton, Sir Paul Smith, former footballer Gary Neville, journalist Katty Kay, Airbnb co-founder Brian Chesky, and Zoe and Olivier de Givenchy. Across five earlier series the table has hosted Paul McCartney, Michael Caine, Elton John, Kamala Harris, Ian McKellen, Greta Gerwig, Tina Fey and Judi Dench. The series runs on Apple Podcasts, Spotify and YouTube, with many episodes available to watch.
WHY IT MATTERS: The show is a restaurant's owned media. The River Cafe table is the studio, the guest list is the room's own network built over four decades, and the podcast keeps that reputation working between seatings. It is a clean model for any business with a room people already want to sit in.
Series 6 launches on November 3, 2026.
