Defected Records launched Season 2 of its interview podcast Moments In Music on October 27, 2026. Monki hosts the series. She is the label's resident DJ, a producer and a radio host. The first episode, with Canadian DJ and label head BLOND:ISH, is out now.
The eight episode season runs every Tuesday until December 15, 2026. The guest list holds Ewan McVicar, Jaguar, Salome Le Chat, Smokin Jo, Denis Sulta, Oden & Fatzo and Poppy Baskcomb. Season 1 set the pattern, with conversations featuring MK, Purple Disco Machine, Rudimental, Carl Craig, Sam Divine, Skream, Roger Sanchez, Joseph Capriati and Josh Baker. Episodes are available to listen to and watch on the major streaming platforms, including Spotify, Apple Music and YouTube.
WHY IT MATTERS: A record label runs its own interview podcast as a front door for its catalogue and its scene. The label owns the channel outright, the artists get long form conversation instead of a press quote, and the show markets the roster between releases without renting anyone else's audience.
New episodes land every Tuesday until December 15, 2026.
