The Pod Awards opened nominations and first-round public voting for 2026 on October 1, and the window stays open through December 31, 2026, per the organizer's Newsfile release. It is a people's-choice format: 30 categories, each awarding Best Podcast, Best Episode, Best Host, and Best Co-Hosts, for 120 awards total.
The ballot already carries 153 nominees at launch. A final voting stage for the top vote-getters follows the December 31 close, though the release did not state the final-stage date. Nominate at podawards.com/nominate; vote at podawards.com/vote.
For independent shows, listener-voted awards season is campaign season: the December window is the time to mobilize an audience, since organized fan bases routinely decide these ballots.
