The Audio Academy Festival 2026 takes place on Thursday, October 1, 2026 at the Royal College of Physicians in Regent's Park, London. It is the rebranded successor to the Radio Academy Festival, now staged by The Audio Academy (formerly the Radio Academy), with 68 speakers and 25 sessions across four stages covering commercial radio, podcasting, AI, immersive audio and content for younger audiences. Named participants include BBC Radio 1's Greg James, Elizabeth Day, BBC Radio 6's Steve Lamacq and Bauer Media Audio UK CEO Simon Myciunka, alongside numerous podcasters and radio/podcast hybrids.
For UK podcasters, it is one of the autumn's main industry gatherings — a single-day concentration of craft sessions, growth strategy and networking with the people commissioning and producing audio across the country. The programme also includes immersive experiences in the Dolby Library, one-to-one career conversations with organisations including the BBC, Bauer, Spotify, Audible and Times Radio, plus the announcement of this year's Audio Academy Fellows. Tickets are sold through the organizer's official Ticket Tailor page.
Per-ticket prices were not publicly confirmed on the organizer page at research time, so cost is recorded as not confirmed; check the official Ticket Tailor listing for current pricing and availability.
